St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School

Saint Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic School, established in 1953 and part of the Diocese of Phoenix, serves 554 students from preschool through 8th grade at 4510 N. 24th St., Phoenix, AZ. Its mission is to teach children the life and message of Christ by instilling deep faith, academic excellence, and commitment to service. The rigorous curriculum exceeds state standards in language arts, math, science, religion, social studies, Spanish, Latin, PE, arts, and technology, featuring SMART Boards, Chromebooks (1:1 in junior high), and iPads. Unique programs include STA Serves for hands-on community service partnering with Down Syndrome networks, robust athletics (Mustangs, 8 sports), and faith formation preparing students for sacraments.
