Primavera School

Founded in 1972 on a 15-acre campus bordering Prescott National Forest, Primavera School is a private, non-profit (501(c)(3)) independent school serving Pre-K through 8th grade. It provides an alternative to traditional public education through a hands-on, whole-child curriculum that fosters self-confidence, growth mindset, and lifelong learning in small classes averaging 15 students. Nestled in Prescott's pines, the school emphasizes nature-based learning with outdoor/indoor classrooms, community garden, nature hikes, and enrichment in foreign languages, music, art, and physical education. Preschool and Kindergarten hold long-standing NAEYC accreditation—the first in Prescott—while featuring Montessori-based early childhood programs.
