Imago Dei Middle School
Founded in 2006 and modeled after Epiphany School, Imago Dei Middle School is Arizona's only tuition-free independent private school for grades 4-8 students from low-income, under-resourced Tucson families. In the Episcopal tradition, it educates the whole child—academically, physically, socially, and spiritually—through small classes (1:10 ratio), individualized support, and an extended 10-hour day, 11-month year with Saturday programs. Accredited by Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, it's a member of NAIS, NAES, NativityMiguel Coalition, and Episcopal Jubilee Domestic Poverty Ministry. Diverse students (96% high school graduation rate vs. 70% peers) break poverty cycles via donor-funded scholarships.
