Desert Voices Oral Learning Center, founded in 1996 by parents of children with hearing loss, is a nonprofit in Phoenix, AZ dedicated to teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing children oral language skills through listening and spoken language (LSL) methods. Serving infants from four weeks old through age five or six (PK-K), it offers comprehensive programs including individual Little Listeners sessions, Jump Start, toddler, and preschool classrooms with a low 1:2-3 teacher-student ratio. The mission is to equip children and families to mainstream successfully into hearing peers' schools.
