Breakthrough Academy

Breakthrough Academy is a private special education school in Phoenix, AZ (3427 E Bell Rd), serving grades K-8 with ~33 students in small multi-age classes (avg 8 students). Founded in 2013, its mission is to facilitate learning for individual success by closing learning and social gaps using evidence-based methods like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Precision Teaching (doubling learning rates), Mathetics/Direct Instruction, Science of Reading, AI executive functioning training, trauma-informed SEL, and neurologically-based interventions. It's the only school in Arizona using Precision Teaching technology, offering personalized pathways in a play-based, fun environment.
